Hi, I'm a former math teacher, self-taught tech enthusiast, certified Human Design reader, and your new favorite person to call when you need things to finally make sense.

I know that's a lot. But stick with me, it all connects. 😊

My Story:

For over 20 years, my world revolved around math. I taught it, tutored it, and wrote curriculum for it. And what I learned in all those years wasn't just how numbers work, it was how people learn. How to meet someone exactly where they are. How to take something that feels impossibly complicated and break it down until it clicks. How to make a person go from "I'll never get this" to "wait...I actually understand that."

That skill turns out to be useful for a lot more than algebra.

While I was teaching, I was also quietly becoming the person everyone called when their computer acted up, their phone stopped working, or they couldn't figure out why the internet wasn't connecting. Friends, colleagues, neighbors, and especially my senior friends, who would call me with everything from email troubles to brand new smartphones they had no idea how to use.

I loved every minute of it. It was never a chore. It was just how I helped people.

Then one of those friends said something that changed everything: "Marissa, you should make this a business."

So I did. 🌸

BrightBloom Tech was born from that moment built on the belief that technology should feel empowering, not overwhelming, and that everyone deserves a patient, trustworthy guide who actually speaks their language.

Then Came Human Design...

In the middle of building websites and helping clients get set up online, I discovered Human Design, a system that reveals how you're uniquely wired to make decisions, use your energy, and show up in the world.

It stopped me in my tracks.

Not just because it explained so much about myself, my patience, my love of teaching, my ability to simplify complexity, but because I immediately saw how powerful it could be for the people I work with every day. So I got certified. And now BrightBloom Tech does two things really well:

💻 Technology Services: Websites, CRM setup, and gentle tech support for seniors and small businesses. Clear, patient, and stress-free — just like it should be.

🧬 Human Design Readings: Personalized sessions that help you understand your energy, make aligned decisions, and finally feel at home in who you are.

Two very different services. Both rooted in the exact same belief: that CLARITY — whether it's about technology or about yourself — changes everything.

My Approach

I meet you exactly where you are. No jargon. No judgment. No rushing. Whether you're 75 and just got your first smartphone, a small business owner drowning in tech overwhelm, or a newly certified coach ready to launch your online practice, I bring the same patience, warmth, and genuine care to every single conversation.

Twenty years of teaching taught me that there's no such thing as someone who "just can't get it." There's only someone who hasn't found the right guide yet. 🌸

A Personal Note

I started BrightBloom Tech because I genuinely love helping people feel capable and clear. I love learning and helping others learn. Whether that's an elder person who finally feels confident with their phone, a small business owner whose website is bringing in clients for the first time, or someone who just heard their Human Design chart and felt, for the first time, completely understood. That moment when something clicks for someone ... That's why I do this.
